Show your beach vibe with  this leather and glass necklace! An African glass bead and leather cord make this fun layering or wear solo necklace. This is a very unique necklace where the glass bead looks like beach glass, but is actually made from crushed, recycled bottles.

You can choose your length of the necklace, color of the bead (green or blue) and the color of the leather cord (black, dark brown, light brown). Leather cord is 2mm and glass beads is about 14mm. The closure is a freshwater pearl and loop. These glass beads are not smooth and each one is unique!

 Never heard of African glass? These recycled glass beads are made from a variety of recycled sources including old beverage and medicine bottles. The glass beads are made by crushing glass to a fine powder and poured into molds with a cassava leaf stem used to make the hole. When they are then baked in the oven, the glass fuses and the cassava stem burns up.
